Plot details for Madame Web are scarce, but fans do know that the film "will serve as an origin story for Madame Web, a clairvoyant whose psychic abilities allow her to see within the spider world itself." Besides Sweeney, the upcoming Sony's Spider-Man Universe film stars Dakota Johnson - as the titular character - Isabela Merced, Celeste O'Connor, Tahar Rahim, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Adam Scott and Zosia Mamet.
